Lucid.jewelry is a platform for jewelry design, gemmology and consulting.
My jewellery designs are unique pieces reflecting my passion for colours and precious metals. Global travels – especially in Asia - inspired my creative passion and focus on sustainable materials.
As a Gemmologist (FGA/DGA) and Business Economist from Switzerland, I have many years of experience in multi-cultural and multi-national companies while living in Switzerland, China, Canada and Japan. I began my design business in China, sourcing the best quality cultured fresh water pearls for my clients and organizing educative pearl workshops.
I studied Gemmology at the Gemmological Association of Great Britain and became certified after writing the exams in London, England. My interests in gemstones started in my early childhood. I grew up in Switzerland where we spent a lot of time up in the mountains, not only hiking but also digging for rock crystals. The sparkle of the stones and the various colors hidden behind the rocks are fascinating.
Between 2018 and 2022 I have lived in Tokyo / Japan where I was working together with TheMakers at the shared atelier of Hiko Mizuno College of Jewelry in Shibuya. I am designing and creating custom made jewelleries under my brand name Lucid.jewelry. I love to work with precious metals like silver and gold as well as sparkling gemstones and Japanese Akoya pearls.
On my website TheGemGalleries I am offering a gemstone identification and appraisal service as well as gemstone sourcing and investment consultancy.
